It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our CEO of Thorbjornsson Group LTD and CP Rentals & Property Management Volundur (Wally) Thorbjornsson on Friday May 14th, 2021.
Wally was a devoted husband, Father, Brother, Son and Friend and a wonderful boss to his staff.
Our sincere condolences go out to all his family, friends, and business that worked with Wally. We has lost a visionary and creative entrepreneur, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Wally have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor.
His dedication to Carleton Place, Smiths Falls and surrounding towns were truly inspiring. He wanted to help all small business to ensure they thrived along with him. Wally’s unique ways of thinking truly made him be where he is and was today.
No words can adequately express our sadness at Wally’s death, we will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much as he shaped his staff to work just as hard as he did.
With COVID19 protocols in place and we cannot gather in large groups, in time we will honour Wally in a way he would of wanted. Further details will be announced in the future.
With this being said our staff will require time to grieve and assist his family this week. Our office will be closed for the week and ensure all emergencies are looked after and we will re-open on Tuesday May 25th, 2021.
